More information about 1982 Wyoming Centennial Brass Belt Buckle, Leather Case and Certificate

Part of the splendid American Buckle Collection and celebrating the Wyoming Centennial 1890-1990, this solid brass belt buckle and bears the following mark: "Registered Collection, Solid Brass, Affiliated Bank Corporation of Wyoming, 1982, with serial number CX2570." Included is the original suede leather pouch and a certification of ownership registration card. Oval shape, 3.5" x 2.5".

These limited edition, serially numbered, belt buckles were designed and sculptured by well known American artists. The buckle was cast in solid brass by the age-old sand-mold process, slow and tedious, which was favored in American foundries during the 1800s. The buckle was individually hand finished and polished to achieve a fine jewelry finish.

Purchased by my late husband in 1984, the buckle has been well preserved.
